Rob Dodson: images of Deep Space – from a Derby garden

For the month September, the exhibition Images of Deep Space – from a Derby garden by Rob Dodson will continue to be shown in the village hall gallery. Utterly extraordinary photographs that capture images of ancient light from galaxies far beyond our solar system, the light from which takes thousands of years to reach Earth, are all taken with a camera set up in Rob’s back garden. Accompanying each image is a short explanatory text, telling the mind-blowing story of the photograph. I recommend you visit the exhibition, on the on the days that the Maple Tree Cafe is open, on a number of occasions to fully grasp the magnitude of what Rob has achieved with his photographs.
