At the Maple Tree our aim above all is to support our local community, not only by providing a wonderful place to meet friends and enjoy a coffee, but by supporting local groups and initiatives.

We continue to fund and support the youth club held each Friday, and the Dementia café held on the first Monday of every month. If you have any ideas on how we can further support events and initiatives within our community please get in touch.

In all of what we do we rely completely on our fantastic group of volunteers. Why not come and join us?

At the Maple Tree we are always looking to welcome new volunteers. It’s a great way to make new friends and get involved. We have volunteers who offer a variety of roles from serving in the café to baking cakes or setting up tables. We can offer flexible shifts to suit your availability and even one shift a month can make a big difference.:
